What about surogacy India?

Raising kids gives you immense pleasure as nothing else can. But there are a number of couples who struggle with the sorrow of childlessness. The childless couples` heartache and sorrow can now be fully disappeared, thanks to the gestational surrogacy arrangement. Gestational surrogacy is a type of surrogacy which further is a method of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, which includes all fertility treatments and became commercially available for the first time in the late 1970s. The whole procedure of surrogacy could be extremely expensive for the Intended Parents from developed countries. These hopeful parents can seek inexpensive surrogacy arrangements in India, where gestational surrogates willfully come forward for doing it for lesser money. Gestational Surrogacy - an Overview The inability to conceive naturally leads several couples to seek gestational surrogacy option in order to accomplish their desire to have a child that is biologically their own. In gestational surrogacy, a surrogate is impregnated with the eggs and sperm from the infertile couple, and the surrogate acts only as the carrier for the couple`s embryo. The process begins with removal of the infertile wife`s egg by laparoscopy. These eggs are then placed in a laboratory dish with her husband`s sperm to create embryos. The fertilized embryo is then transferred into the surrogate`s womb through a catheter inserted through the vagina. The gestational surrogate carries the embryo in her womb until birth. After the delivery, this surrogate mother who is genetically unrelated to the resulting child hands over the baby to the intended parents. India - Surrogacy Capital of the World Surrogacy is a booming business, growing as part of Indian medical tourism industry. A study by CII-McKinsey has previously estimated that India`s current $333 million medical tourism industry could be a robust $1,110 - 2,220 million by the year 2012. By some estimates surrogacy in India is a $445 million-a-year industry. India`s gestational surrogacy is quite popular with the US, UK and Australian nationals who cannot carry their own pregnancy but still wish to have their own genetic children. Gestational surrogacy providers in metro Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Calcutta understand such couples` feelings and help them fulfill their dream of raising a child who is genetically linked to them. Low costs of surrogacy arrangements, easy availability of surrogates, experienced fertility specialist, well-equipped fertility clinics, zero waiting time, and no legal complexities are the key factors that altogether have made this newly industrialized Asian country the international capital of surrogacy. Cost The cost of gestational surrogacy in India, the world`s largest democracy, falls to a fraction of what is charged in industrialized countries, even after adding in ART clinic and specialist`s fees, surrogate work up, delivery charges as well as egg donor and surrogate`s compensation. Quality The leading Indian hospitals are ISO-9000-2001 and JCI accredited, providing such quality healthcare facilities for surrogacy that are equivalent to that being provided in First World nations and that too at one-fifth of the cost. India has an abundance of after care facilities, SPAs, Ayurveda and yoga clinics that help patients heal and relax. No Waiting Time Unlike the countries like Australia, Canada, UK & USA and Middle East, appointment for gestational surrogacy in India is immediate. This is because India has a number of clinics that specialize in gestational surrogacy and the gestational surrogates are easily available in this South Asian country. Favorable Laws Another important factor that makes India an attractive destination for gestational surrogacy is its laws. The simpler and comfortable laws to take the surrogate baby home are attracting a lot of interest. India recognizes the intended parents as the legal parents, rather than the surrogate mother. Indian Surrogacy Law Centre, India`s first expert independent legal consultant, serves as independent attorneys for the intended parents from India and all over the world. In its 228th Report on need for legislation to regulate rights and obligations of surrogacy parties, the Law Commission of India has clearly indicated that the birth certificate of the surrogate child should contain the name(s) of the intended parent(s) only. Since surrogacy India agreements are legally binding in India, foreign couples don`t have to fear that surrogates will refuse to give up children after delivery.
